John E. Marshall IV, DPM

John E. Marshall IV, DPM is a highly trained podiatrist joining Precision Podiatry with locations in the Hutto and Round Rock neighborhoods of Austin, Texas. 

Dr. Marshall aims to take a comprehensive approach to patient care and offers a vast array of non-operative and surgical options to fully address patients’ concerns and help get them back to an active lifestyle.

Dr. Marshall completed his undergraduate degree at the Ohio State University majoring in Economics with minor studies in Entrepreneurship. He worked in the Banking and Real Estate industries for several years before making the decision to pursue something more fulfilling and impactful. He always had a strong interest in medicine and returned to university studies in medicine at Cleveland State University before obtaining his podiatric medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University associated with Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Il. During his time in medical school Dr. Marshall was a member of the Pi Delta Academic Honor society and received many awards and honors in the fields of Surgery, Medicine, and Professionalism. 

Dr. Marshall then went on to complete his Residency training at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA, one of the nation’s pre-eminent residency programs in foot in ankle surgery. Following residency Dr. Marshall chose to further his training by completing Fellowship training at the Pennsylvania Intensive Lower Extremity Fellowship associated with Premier Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, one of the nation’s largest Orthopedics institutions. 

Throughout his residency and fellowship Dr. Marshall was trained by industry leaders in foot and ankle surgery, orthopedic surgery, burn/trauma surgery, plastic surgery, and vascular surgery. He has received extensive training in advanced surgical techniques including total ankle replacement, complex reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma, sports medicine, minimally invasive surgery, and comprehensive conservative treatment options. 

This experience has equipped him to tailor treatments to each patient that walks through the door and provide them a unique solution that best fits their goals and needs.
